I was given this hall table/sofa table quite some time ago. It was plain, made up of mostly MDF, and it just wasn't speaking to me. After scrolling through one of my many furniture groups, I was inspired! I saw this gorgeous vanity where the artist applied appliques going partially up the legs. I wanted to play off of that! Make it look as tho vines and flowers were growing up the piece.This is how I turned an entryway table into a one of a kind work of art ❤️I completely forgot to take a before photo, but Pinterest came to my rescue! The pictured unfinished piece is almost exactly what mine looked like before I got my hands on it 😉

I decided to build for my son Airplane Wall Shelf. Using only recycled raw materials. I took the wooden boards from an old dresser that kept its trees, the wheels I took from a car on an old sign, the proflor I took from an old industrial fan and the result is amazing!!! I chose the color "Red Ferrari" because in my opinion this is the most seductive color for this type of project. Of course you can use other colors like yellow or blue for example. In this project, I turned seven standard kitchen cabinets from IKEA into a platform bed for my daughter. The total cost was around $480 for the cabinets, lumber and supplies - not including the bedding, which she already had. There is a huge storage area under the mattress which is accessed through one of the cabinets that has no back.

The bar in my closet collapsed with the weight of the clothes! The pole is fine but the ends that hold the pole to the wall are broken! What can I do?
I have a coat closet which is 19 1/2" D x 30" W x 90"H. The pictures show my largest frustration which is the hangers must sit sideways due to the depth of the closet. these are only a handful of the coats I need to store in here along with my husband's who is a much larger figure than I! I viewed helen915 (great job btw!) but my closet is even tinier than hers in terms of depth. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Ok, I know y'all are gonna come through for me!! We have two upstairs bedrooms that each have a long skinny dormer space that I have never figured out what to do with, other than line pictures along the walls. This is the only window in each of the bedrooms so blocking it off is not an option. And there is a large walk-in closet on each side so we don't need more closet space. The space is approximately 3' X 9'. I'm redecorating the bedrooms and getting ready to paint so now is the time to make an improvement. These are guest rooms, so not used regularly. Thanks in advance for the help I'm certain is forthcoming!!
