French Antiquity Tile Backsplash on a Home Depot Budget

There's nothing that makes our little heart's sing more than the exquisite depth of beauty that is emulated in authentic vintage Blue Delft tiles. Of course we don't have the budget to acquire such antiquities, so as usual we set our minds to figuring out a way to hack it. Our wheels are always turning when we find something we love that's just not in our budget. One might say the challenge of DIY'ing these high end design features is what we live for, second only to encouraging and empowering others to do the same!

DIY How to Build a Kitchen Nook

Hey everyone! In this How to I am going to show you a few ways to save money when building a kitchen nook. a lot of money actually because these few tips allow you to only need half the material. hope you enjoy it!Another thing. this is a LARGE project BUT its actually quite simple. Don't let the size of the build scare you. its really just straight cuts and building a rectangle, i promise! plus most hardware stores will do you big (or all) cuts to help if your solo or don't have a table saw!

DIY Marble Countertops

I have been eyeing this DIY marble counter top kit for quite some time now. I finally had some time to get around to doing this and so, so happy that I did!Things to remember -This is not going to be perfect. There are several minor imperfections throughout my counters. Some spots the epoxy isn't even, there are a couple small hairs I misses before the epoxy hardened, but overall it is a million times better than what it was and I could not be happier! This project does take several days to complete. There is a lot of drying time involved. It can be a pain in the butt to not have the use of your counters for upwards of a week. my kitchen had the appliances pulled out from their spots for a couple days. You just have to make do for the time being.

Repurposed Hutch Top Using Dixie Belle's Farmhouse Green

I am so excited to share with you one of my absolute favorite pieces of furniture to repurpose. Old hutch tops! People tend to get rid of these, and either set them on the roadside or sell them for cheap. I found this one on Facebook Marketplace for $20.00.
