1. Assemble Your Materials
Gather all the tools and materials listed above to get started on your DIY project. Make sure you have a well-ventilated workspace and cover any surfaces to protect them from paint spills.
2. Construct the Base
Take one of the plastic planters and place it upside down.
Apply a generous amount of E6000 glue to the bottom of the planter.
Next, place a bowl on top of the planter.
Apply glue to the rim of the bowl.
Stick the second plastic bowl upside down on top of the first bowl.
Finally, add a layer of glue to the base of the second bowl and place the second planter upside down on top of the stack.
Allow the glue to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
3. Paint the Stand
Now it's time to give your plant stand that coveted terracotta look.
Mix orange and brown acrylic paint to achieve the perfect color.
Add baking soda to the paint mixture to create a matte, chalky finish reminiscent of stone.
Using a wide brush, apply the paint mixture evenly to the plastic surface. Be sure to use gentle strokes to avoid peeling the paint off the plastic.
Let the first coat dry completely before applying a second coat to cover any missed spots.
4. Style Your Plant Stand
Once the paint is dry, it's time to style your new plant stand!
There are endless ways to incorporate this piece into your home decor.
Pop in a plant and use it as a gorgeous planter.
Alternatively, add a piece of wood to the top of the stand and use it as a decorative side table.

Looks great! The faux clay is terrific! ❤️ If I put the time into the project? I'd take it one step further. Before painting? I'd add some (texture/Aztec look.) And apply spackle, like frosting a cake. Under the rims, & around the center piece. Then, indent a simple design in it. Not overdone. Let dry then, paint. I Think it would look very authentic & high end. 👍 You have my faux business mind swirling 😉 Ty 🙋♀️

I think I would put some kind of weight in the black ones before glue together.
