If you're like me and always on the lookout for clever cleaning hacks, you're in for a treat! Rach Plus Five recently shared a fantastic video where she put viral cleaning tips to the test.

Among the gems she revealed, one in particular caught my eye – using a mop to clean kitchen cabinets. It's nothing short of genius, and I can't believe I hadn't thought of it before!

In her video, Rach cleaned the cupboards with a spin mop, but there was one minor issue. She used the same mop she used for cleaning her floors. The solution? Buying a separate mop for the cabinets. However, I had a different idea in mind.

I happened to have a handy floor squeegee at home, which I thought would be the perfect tool for this project.

The beauty of the squeegee is that you can easily wrap it with a floor cloth and wash it once you're done, eliminating the need for dirty used mops on your cabinets.

Here are my cabinets before, they aren’t super dirty but there are a few grimy marks I can test.

My primary motivation for giving this trick a try was the ongoing challenge I face when it comes to reaching the uppermost section of my cabinet doors during my cleaning routine.

The manufacturer of my painted cabinets recommends only wiping with warm water. It’s not a good idea to apply cleaning solutions to any and every surface as though they’re all the same.
