Somewhere along the line, my Dad had a fireplace grate with his other things. After both parents passed, I found the grate and wondered what it was and what to do with it. I put it on a stump, added charcoal briquettes, doused them with charcoal lighter fluid, and started them on fire. It made a great place to roast hot dogs. Eventually it burned out. That was a win/win.
