Easy Handmade Easter Decoration: How to Make a No Sew Stuffed Bunny

A cute and easy buffalo check bunny for your Easter display!
Buffalo check has been trending, so I decided to incorporate it into my Easter decor with an adorable no sew stuffed bunny.
This project is quick, budget-friendly, and perfect for adding a handmade touch to your spring setup.
Tools and Materials:
- Buffalo check fabric
- Fiberfill stuffing
- White rice
- Hot glue gun & glue sticks
- Scissors
- Printed bunny template
- Floral wire
- Raffia
1. Print and Cut Out the Bunny Shape
Start by printing a bunny template from the internet (you can use the one I’ve attached below).
Fold your buffalo check fabric in half and trace the bunny shape onto the fabric.
2. Cut and Glue the Fabric
Since the fabric is folded, cutting along the traced outline will create two identical pieces.
Cut just inside the line for a clean edge.
Next, start gluing around the edges of the bunny, beginning at the ears.
3. Add Floral Wire for the Ears
To make the ears stand up, create a loop with floral wire and glue it to the inside of the back piece of fabric before sealing the edges.
This allows you to shape the ears however you like.
4. Stuff the Bunny
Fill the bunny with fiberfill, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
Continue gluing along the edges, leaving the bottom open.

5. Add Rice for Weight and Seal
Pour about 1 cup of white rice into the bottom of the bunny to give it weight, helping it stand on its own.
Once the rice is in place, finish gluing the opening shut.

Have a question about this project?
How tall is the bunny?
how do you print the template
How much fabric did you use? Also did you have to piece together the bunny pattern? In the second the pattern looks a little different than the one to print out.
Thank you,
