If you're looking for a quick and inexpensive way to freshen up your Easter decorations this year, this DIY Dollar Tree bunny cloche is the perfect project.

It’s simple, affordable, and comes together in under 30 minutes using just a few items from your local Dollar Tree. No fancy tools or skills required—just some creativity and a glue gun!

Traditionally, a cloche is a small glass dome used in the garden to protect young plants. But in this case, we’re using it to create a charming Easter bunny display that looks high-end but costs just a few dollars to make.

Everything you need to make this Dollar Tree bunny cloche

Tools and Materials:

  • 1 glass jar with lid
  • 1 tinsel bunny head
  • 1 full roll of twine (natural jute)
  • Faux white lilac flowers
  • Mini decorative carrots
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon (your choice of color or pattern)
Remove the tinsel from your Dollar Tree bunny head

1. Remove the Tinsel from the Bunny Head

Start by stripping all the tinsel off the Easter Bunny's head.

Most of the seasonal decor at Dollar Tree is easy to take apart, and you’ll be left with a plain plastic base that’s perfect for wrapping.

Wrap the bunny head in twine for a natural, farmhouse-style Easter look

2. Wrap the Bunny Head with Twine

Take a full roll of Dollar Tree twine and begin wrapping it around the bunny head.

Start at one end and work your way around, using hot glue as needed to secure the twine in place.

Cover the entire surface so it looks natural and rustic.

Faux florals add a pretty springtime touch to your Easter cloche.

3. Add a Touch of Spring with Faux Flowers

Cut a small piece from your bunch of faux white lilacs (or any spring floral you prefer).

These will add a soft, seasonal touch to your bunny cloche.

Glue the bunny head to the bottom of the glass jar

4. Flip the Jar and Attach the Bunny

Remove the lid from your jar and turn the jar upside down. Peel off any stickers or barcodes.

Then, using hot glue, secure your twine-wrapped bunny head to the center of the jar’s base (now the top of the cloche).

Customize your cloche with ribbon, florals, and twine for the perfect Easter touch

5. Decorate the Cloche

Get creative!

Glue your faux flowers to one side of the bunny and add a cute bow with ribbon.

You can also wrap a little extra twine around the base of the jar for added texture.

Tuck mini carrots and spring florals inside the cloche for an adorable Easter display

6. Fill the Jar with Easter Decor

To complete the look, fill the inside of the jar with faux carrots, mini eggs, or more florals—whatever fits your Easter theme.

Then carefully place the jar over the bunny head to create your finished cloche.

This DIY Easter cloche looks adorable with other Dollar Tree spring decorations.

I love how she just rips off large YouTube content creators and NEVER gives them credit for passing off their creations as her own. That’s what happens when you don’t have a creative bone in your body. You have to copy everyone else.

And it looks just as cute in 2025! I think your "creative bone" is functioning just fine.
