Most people don't think too much about their pantry doors - until something goes wrong. Maybe they fall off the track, maybe they block the kitchen, maybe they're difficult to open - whatever the complaint, we're telling you that, even if you think your pantry door is just fine, it's not!
There are all sorts of helpful and beautiful pantry doors out there, and we've collected some of our favorites to show you what you're missing out on!

1. Is yours easy to open?

After getting exasperated with her pantry entrance, this homeowner spent $20 swapping out her bothersome bi-fold doors for an easy two-door alternative. Now, picking through her pantry is no problem at all, and she has extra storage space for aprons!

2. Does yours take up virtually no space when ajar?

If opening your pantry door means blocking off your kitchen, then you deserve better! This clever upgrade lets you ditch the wide opening space-waster in place of barely-there sliding door.

3. Does it help you store your spices?

Kitchen storage is hard to come by, so don't let the additional space behind your door go unused. Instead, fill it up with spices, jars, or tall rolls of tin foil and plastic wrap.

4. Does it add to your kitchen decor?

In the same way that you want your cabinets and countertops to look their best, doors in your kitchen are opportunities for decor. Switch out your boring pantry door for something a little more interesting, like this vintage design.

5. Does it double as a storage shelf?

When counter space and tabletops are scarce, store a few books, some display pieces, a couple loose toys, and even a small plant on your back-of-the-door bookshelf.

6. Does your pantry door organize your pot lids?

OK, we're always searching for the perfect pot and lid organizer, but what if you could just line them along your pantry door and call it a day? This pantry deserves a performance prize, and yours deserves an update!

7. Does it keep track of your shopping needs?

When was the last time you returned from the grocery only to discover that you left some items off your list? With a memo board inside your pantry, you can jot down a list while taking stock of your wares and never miss an ingredient.

8. Does it go above and beyond the call of duty?

Windows to peer in without opening the door, racks that hold cans, jars, and spices, that pretty mint color - is there anything this pantry can't do? All of these are great upgrades, but which will you start with?

So, were we right? Is your pantry door living up to its full potential? If it is, let us know what cool updates you've added in the comments below?

I really love the window in the door but I have a full length rack on the door, which holds all my cans, so I can see them.
