Does the thought of bedbugs give you the creeps? Same! You never think that dealing with an infestation of bedbugs can happen to you until it does. Today we’re going to talk about how to make homemade bedbug spray (in case it happens to you) and how to prevent bedbugs from spreading.
- Rubbing alcohol
- Water
- Spray bottle
- funnel
- Essential oils (optional)
Mix equal parts of water and rubbing alcohol and spray all the areas the nasty little critters are hiding and have made their new home. This will stop them from spreading and laying eggs.
Pour a half cup of water into the spray bottle using a funnel.
Pour a half cup of 70% or higher rubbing alcohol into the bottle using a funnel.
Add 10 drops of essential oils like tea tree, lavender or peppermint. Bed bugs don’t like these smell and they also help to make your room smell nice.
Spray the mixture onto your mattress and bed.
Spray wherever bed bugs may be lurking and use occasionally to help prevent them. If you are dealing with an active infestation you should put all your bedding in the wash and dry on a hot cycle to kill any critters.
Use a mattress cover to help prevent bed bug infestations.

If you've ever bought a framed picture or painting from a resale shop the little devils maybe hiding in the corners. So I spray them with plain white vinegar with just a tad of dish washing liquid in it. It kills them on contact. Spray again in a week to ten days in case any eggs may have hatched.

Fleas inside and out I’ve tryed so much my poor dogs are small and I moved to a place where carpet is in the home I can’t get rid of lleas help

Buy the bombs made for flea infestation. You can get them from Walmart, Dollar General,etc. They work! Will have to stay out of home for a few hours but worth it. Also may have to bomb twice.

Neem oils kills bugs as well. We used the powder version mixed with Diatamceous earth, sprinkled around furniture and puffed into any in cracks/ holes in floors.
Now I keep neem oil for when we travel and we spray our belongings and use it diluted as a moisturizer (the smell is not very appeasing).
