The Great Cover Up-How to Hide Heart Cutouts

We’ve all seen them. End tables, peg racks, headboards…all with little heart cut into them. Very country, very primitive, and also very dated. Not everyone’s cup of tea, and certainly not ours. Hearts have their place and it’s not on our furniture!
Eek. Not something we could just hang on the wall without some sort of facelift. We had to find some way to cover up that little heart. Luckily there's an easy product to use to hide any offending imperfections.
Enter Efex Moldings. Bendable, paintable, stainable, durable, trimmable with scissors, interior/exterior, and with over 160 designs we could make this shelf look however we wanted. (cue lightning, thunder, and a mad scientist laugh)
With a little DAP contact cement applied to the back of the piece and the surface we waited for it to be dry to touch before pressing the two together. Don't worry, there's detailed directions on our blog and on the back of the glue. We gotcha covered! Once the molding is attached we were ready to add paint!
