Dollar Tree Wood Bead Easter Carrots

I am always searching for cute decor for my 3 tier farmhouse tray. If you have one too, you know what I mean. Small and cute is what we need to fill it up so today I’m working on some carrots for Easter. You only need a few items for this quick DIY and all the items can be found at your local Dollar Tree.

What you'll need:

Wire jute cord

A bag of wooden beads (maybe 2 if you're making a few carrots. Try to grab the bags with lots of orange beads).

Wire cutters

Artificial greens - pick something that looks like a carrot top.

Get some non-candy Easter egg ideas for your egg hunt this year.

Open your beads and pull out all the orange ones. I just put them in a bowl so they don't roll all over the place.

Next, grab your wire jute and thread on 3 large beads, 3 medium beads and then 3 small beads. You can do more if you want larger carrots but as long as you add the beads from biggest to smallest, it will work.

If the smaller beads are hard to thread on, you can use your drill to make the hole a bit bigger.

Now, fold over the wire at the bottom of your carrot to keep your beads from falling off. You can also use a hot glue gun and add a small dollop of glue to keep them on.

Then do the same at the top of your carrot.

Now, take a few pieces of your greenery from the bunch. You might need to use your wire cutters to cut them off.

Leave some stem on them because you’ll now push that into the hole of the top bead.

It should look like this once you've added the greenery.

What do you think? This was super easy to make and the perfect addition to my Easter decor.

Here is one of my trays I made. I may make a few more!

I'd love to see yours too!
