DIY Floating Witches
Floating Witches are all the rage this Halloween Season. Scoring some can be expensive. So why not make your own with stuff you may already have at home.
This project is easy to do. Can be customized to fit your theme. Perfect for all skill levels.

Material List
-2 Black vinyl tablecloths
-Medium size rubber ball
-Sturdy wire ( or wire from hanger)
-Floral wire
-Bubble wrap
-Witch hat
-Cut bamboo sticks, 5ft
-Other; wire cutter, scissors
-Open one tablecloth. Fold in half.
Insert Ball into the center of fold.
Pull over ball. Pull tight to form a neck.
Insert bamboo stick.
Wrap closed with floral wire to form neck
Strengthen the neck with strips
cut from the second tablecloth.
Wrap around the neck several times.
Tying knots every wrap.
Wrap a few layers of bubble wrap
around the bamboo, just under
the neck. This will form the bodice.
Drape the rest of the vinyl
tablecloth over the bubble wrap.
Bunch up till bulky. Pull closed
where you want the bodice to end.
Tie closed with floral wire. Wrap
with strips of vinyl tablecloth.
Insert sturdy wire below neck
into the bodice. This will form
the arms.
Tie a wide strip of vinyl
tablecloth around the neck.
Pinch a section of the vinyl
tablecloth 1/2 way down
from the neck to form
puffy arm on dress.
Wrap that area with floral wire.
Pinch the top of the arm,
just below the neck, wrap
with more floral wire.
Repeat for the other arm.
You are now ready to attach
the hat with floral wire and safety pins.
-Tiny outdoor fairy light.
-Use large styrofoam balls wrapped in plastic wrap instead of the rubber ball.
-Attach a plastic pumpkin lantern to use as the head. Insert battery light.
-Use thick wood dowel instead of bamboo stick.
-Use large black garbage bags instead of the tablecloth.
-Cover an old scarecrow using the same method in the project.
