I had this old ladder sitting around and thought I would repurpose it somehow. Now ladders can be used for loads of things, but I thought I would make a back-of-the-door storage unit this time around. This shelf is quick and easy and makes for a great catch all! And I have actually knocked my wedding rings into the trashcan before. It was because I couldn’t see them on the counter without wearing my glasses. We are a family of 4 with two teenage girls. There seems to be quite a lot of wet towels and washcloths. I hate when wet textiles are added to the dirty clothes hamper. It can create mildew and foul smells. I have the family hang things up to dry after using them. The issue is, there are MULTIPLE wash clothes hung around the bathtub/shower daily. (This includes any clothes the girls got wet.) We have a small bathroom. We do have hooks to hang towels on and an over the door towel rack (where I hang those items that need to be hung to dry and my bathrobe.) What do you do with all your wet items? Anyone have a solution?
The space on either side of our toilet is too tight to hang a t.p. holder, and the wall across from the toilet is a bit too far away. Any ideas on where to put the t.p.? I'm really not happy with it sitting on the back of the tank!
I need a decorative idea to keep these meds in for the counter.
teeny tiny office powder room, I need to be able to store my broom and mop, etc and the corners beside the toilet are the only place. I thought of two narrow painted boards hinged like a screen. Any other ideas from you DIYers?
