2. Attach Curtain Rings
Clip 3 to 4 round curtain rings to the short end of each towel.
If you need to adjust the length, fold over the top and clip the rings along the fold.
3. Hang the Towels
Slip the curtain rings onto simple tension rods and hang the rods in your window.
Adjust the towels so the curves all face the same direction.
Kitchen Towel Art
Turn your tea towels into wall art with this simple project.
1. Iron Your Tea Towel
Make sure there are no wrinkles.
2. Prepare the Frame
Take an old or thrifted picture frame and remove any previous art or cardboard pieces.
We will use the back of the old artwork as a base for attaching our kitchen towel.
3. Secure the Tea Towel
Apply painter's tape to the edge of the tea towel, securing it to the cardboard backing.
4. Assemble the Frame
Place the mat over the taped tea towel and slide it into the frame.
Now you have a beautiful, unique piece of wall art.
Tea Towel Table Runner
For a fun and functional tea towel upcycle project, make a gorgeous table runner.
1. Align the Towels
Find three or four tea towels in a fun pattern.
Flip two towels over and align the short ends against each other.
2. Tape the Towels
Place a strip of simple duct tape over the aligned edges and press down firmly.
Continue to line up the towels end to end and tape the short ends together using duct tape.

Pat on Jun 28, 2024I have made these for years for bathroom and kitchen. Looks much better if you hems with iron on tape for correct height. I put the hems in top and botom . I have made valances as well. I dont like the look of these as it shows where the towel ends. It also looks much better with smaller clips that match the rod black clips black rod, etc. In the bathrom I dont use clips but run a tension rod through my easy hem.
