DIY: Glitter Fairy Mason Jar Light

Make a fun and easy Glitter Fairy Light! Perfect for whimsical wedding decor or bedroom! It's so pretty and magical...

Here’s what you need:

1 screw top jar (like a mason jar) – this can be plastic if desired. I got mine at Dollar Tree

spray craft adhesive

1 ounce glitter in any color (I used silver)

battery-operated LED string lights (like these)

spray paint for the jar top (if desired)

You can also use hot glue or epoxy to glue the battery pack to the inside of the lid.

How pretty! See more (including an easy to follow video):

The faiay lights are beautiful...are there any battery operated which will last a reasonable amount of time? I have used them at Christmas, but had to replace batteries every week. Gets a bit expensive as it takes a number of batteries.

Did you spray on the inside of the jar?

I made a similar jar but to put a candle inside. I did not know where to get the battery lights to put inside. The candle is pretty for adults and mason jars have the lid part that comes out so the candle can burn n the jar still looks intack.

Love it. I used hairspray to stick the glitter. Worked fine until it got wet.

Hope about putting the hair spray and glitter on the inside of the jar and solar lights instead of battery lights
