From eerie soap dispensers to eerie candle holders, we've got you covered with step-by-step instructions to bring your Halloween bathroom dreams to life. Let's dive in and get crafting!
Spooky Soap Holder with Plastic Spiders
Tools and Materials:
- Soap (any color)
- Plastic spiders
- Adhesive remover
- Liquid soap dispenser
1. Removing the Label
The first step is to give your soap a clean canvas. Gather your soap of choice (green works great for a Halloween vibe) and use adhesive remover to remove the labels from both sides.
2. Remove the Soap Dispenser Lid
With your label-free soap ready, it's time to get the dispenser set. Open the top of your soap dispenser and remove the lid.
3. Adding the Spooky Touch
Now comes the fun part! Take the plastic spiders and start sliding them into the liquid soap. Continue adding spiders until you achieve the desired eerie effect. This is your opportunity to customize the appearance and create the perfect spooky scene.
4. Reassemble the Dispenser
With the plastic spiders in place, it's time to complete your DIY Halloween soap dispenser by replacing the lid. Now you’ve transformed ordinary soap into a spooky Halloween decor.
Skeleton in Bubble Bath
Tools and Materials:
- Cauldron
- Cotton balls
- Small skeleton figure
- Baubles (eyeball and purple)
1. Setting the Scene
Begin by placing the small skeleton figure into the cauldron.
2. Creating the Bubble Bath Effect
Now, it's time to bring your skeleton's bath to life! Take a handful of cotton balls and fluff them around the skeleton, creating a bubble bath effect. If you prefer, you can also use fiberfill for a similar look. Ensure that the skeleton is comfortably nestled within the "bubbles".
3. Decorate the “Bubble” Bath
Add a playful twist, with eyeballs and glittery baubles, placed around the skeleton.
Moth-Inspired Halloween Light Display
Tools and Materials:
- Bud vase (from a dollar store)
- Shape of a moth (cut out)
- Fishing line
- Tape
- Candle holders (from a thrift store)
- Color-changing LED light
1. Preparing the Vase and Moth Shape
Begin by selecting a bud vase. Then, cut out a moth.
2. Assembling the Moth and Fishing Line
Attach fishing line to the back of the moth shape using tape.
Place a second piece of tape on the other end of the fishing line. Once we stick this inside the bud vas it will allow the moth to dangle in mid-air.
3. Positioning the Moth Inside the Vase
Gently stick the end of the fishing line with the free tape, to the inside bottom of the bud vase. ensuring that the moth hangs freely within the vase.
4. Creating the Suspended Moth Effect
Now, place the vase upside down on top of the candle holder. This set-up, gives the illusion of a moth caught in mid-flight.
5. Adding a Spellbinding Glow
Add an extra touch of magic by inserting a color-changing LED light inside the vase.
Halloween Bleeding Candles
Tools and Materials:
- Battery-operated votive
- Clicky lighter
- Wax crayon
Take your clicky lighter and get ready to work your magic. Carefully place the wax crayon over the candle, allowing it to start dripping around the edge. Watch as the wax takes on a life of its own, creating a chilling visual.
