As I watched the video, I came to the conclusion that you could possibly wrap foil around a toothbrush and use that to do the scrubbing in all the small spots. I’ll bet it’ll work! Try it and let me know please. I don’t have hard water so I can’t do it, but I definitely would like to know if it makes life easier for you.

Use automotive polish, it works great & repels water so you don't have to clean as often.
