The bedroom, for most, is a place where the pace of modern life is left behind and total relaxation takes its place. Take the time to decorate this overlooked space with you and your well-deserved sleep in mind. With the help of wall stencils, smoky grey or pastel pink color palettes, lace patterns, and metallic sheen, you can create a space that you can wind down and recharge. Let’s check out 11 bedroom makeovers with this romantic decorating style that will leave you in a dream-like state wishing you can hit the snooze button just one more time…
Kimberly Shadoff brought in a big dose of romantic glam to her bedroom makeover with the help of our Casablanca Trellis Wall Stencil, sultry shades of pewter gray, and bedding fit for a princess. The mirrored dressers and chandelier bounce off light throughout the room and give the space a dream-like appearance.
A home that inspires creativity is a must for @mandyfitzart, so she turned to Royal Design Studio stencils to add a romantic damask wallpaper pattern to her hallway walls. Here, you can see how beautifully our Donatella Damask Wall Stencil in blue-gray colors plays off her painterly bedroom wall mural.
Our Skylar’s Lace Floral Stencil looks absolutely gorgeous within decorative artist Heather Bruno-Sears' lost-and-found decorative plaster wall finish. The Lusterstone plaster gives us a peek of romantic lace pattern here and there in this beautiful bedroom.
Our Petal Play Floral Damask Wall Stencil adds a romantic yet whimsical touch to The Polk Home’s bedroom makeover, making it the perfect pattern for the fun and loving mom. She painted the stencil in soft grays and creams to keep the room light and airy. Wouldn’t this look be so refreshing to wake up to?
Refined Rooms brought depth and pattern to this bedroom makeover (which you definitely need in a monochromatic room) with what they call “the wall of gorgeousness”. This gorgeous wall finish is created by using our Moorish Trellis Wall Stencil in soft grey and cream.
Now’s here some sparkle to shed light on how beautiful wall stencils are! Our Ribbon Trellis Wall Stencil shines in this gorgeous wall treatment done by Elegant Finishes by Gina. The sparkling wall pattern is glitzy without being overpowering and the gray monochromatic color scheme would lull anyone to a restful sleep.
Gray is definitely the trending “It” neutral for home decorating. Aspire Design gave this shade of pewter a time to shine with our Silk Road Suzani Wall Stencil and tone on tone wall finish. We love the regal look that the damask wallpaper pattern and satin headboard gives the space!
From the whispers of pastel pinks and the flash of metallic sheen to the layer of ruffles, this bedroom showcases feminine flair in a soft and romantic way. Pam Gamwell knew that curving romantic patterns like our Acanthus Trellis Wall Stencil would take this room from white to WOW.
The soft muted purples, greys, and whites of Crafty Teacher Lady’s bedroom makeover make a blissful spot to unwind and relax. She also hung a chandelier and painted the walls with our Acanthus Trellis Wall Stencil with metallic silver to add feminine flair. This room would have us sleeping in the clouds!
Bella Tucker Decorative Finishes used our Skylar’s Lace Floral Stencil to give a bedroom ceiling unexpected yet soft visual interest. The sheen and matte tone on tone finish highlights the lace pattern without overpowering the space. This way, they can also play with other décor pieces that aren’t in competition with the gorgeous stenciled ceiling.
