How do I fill cracks in faux-wood laminate flooring laid years ago?

There is wood filler that could be used but since they are laminate I'm not too sure how it would work for cracks. We have laminate floors and our sofa had a screw sticking out and it put a nice sized hole in our floor. I used wood filler and stained it to match our floors and you cannot tell if you never knew it was there.

If it is the click-together floating type laminate, you can usually slide the planks tighter, and stick a little shim in it at the wall to keep it from sliding back. If you can pop up the quarter round, usually you can totally hide the shim underneath that and then reattach it.

It depends on how big the crack is. We had some and took fine sawdust and pack and fill the cracks tightly and then stain and put a layer of sealant over it. Or take the sawdust and make a paste with clear drying wood glue and fill the cracks let dry and then take a fingernail finishing sanding block to smooth it.

I would use wood filler. You can get it in many colors and in tubes to make application easy. It should look fine unless the cracks are really big.
