Step 4: Transfer to a Vase

Once the mixture is well mixed, transfer it to a clean vase or container. Make sure the vase is large enough to accommodate your flowers comfortably. I made my mixture in the vase which is a good option if you don’t want to use a mixing bowl.

Step 5: Arrange and Enjoy

Carefully trim the stems of your flowers at an angle before placing them in the vase with the magic water. This will help the flowers absorb water more effectively.

Sorry I missed up a word. You should never mix Bleach with vinegar or citric acid. The combination makes a toxic gas.

This is 1/4 teaspoon of bleach going into a very watered down solution containing one teaspoon of citric acid. I can’t imagine anyone getting poisoned by the gas this generates but if you are concerned you could mix it outside.

Use flat 7up or Sprite. Easier and cheaper.
