How to Transform Your Plastic Plant Pots With Beads !
As you know the mountain of plastic plant pots that are not easy to dispose of responsibly are a problem and so I wanted find a way to transform and make them usable as well as beautiful.
Begin by choosing the beads that will run along the top lip of the planter. it is easier to glue them from upturned pot and I place a tile underneath to create an easily removable base.
I apply PVA glue to the rim of the plant pot and let it dry a few mins before I place the first ring of beads onto it.
Keep making rings of beads and secure the ends you can trim off later when glued firmly and dry. Make sure the bead rings are a snug fit over the planter so they stick well.
Keep building rings up and I let each layer dry first and so maybe you do it over a couple of days.
After the last ring of beads goes on top I let them dry overnight and then hey Presto a beautiful beaded plant pot is gracing my outdoor table.

Great idea to beautify 'junk' from the garage! Do you think the this would hold up on larger pots or would the beads be too much/heavy? I like the look of the glass beads but was thinking maybe I should stick to lighter weight wood beads for a large pot. Appreciate any thoughts you have, thanks!
