Create a Lovely Lighted Archway

It's hard to put lights on some houses, and today I'm sharing a lovely archway you can create not only for holidays but any occasion. This project is so easy, and anyone can do it. You can see more of my crazy creations here

Some roofs are hard to put lights on. This is my parent's house and their roof is too step for lights, plus we really don't want them climbing on ladders anymore. Today I'm surprising them with this easy light project that anyone can do!

We straightened the line out and measured 20 feet.

We used a pipe cutter to cut the line.

We cut 3 lines, and you can make as many of these as you want.

I bought 6 brooms from Dollar Tree and twisted off the broom portion. I used the handles as my stakes.

I mapped out where I wanted the stakes to go on either side of their entry way sidewalk.

I used a rubber mallet to stake the handles into the ground.

I slid the pipe onto one of the handles, and then onto the other handle across the sidewalk creating an archway.

I wrapped all of the archways with lights.

I brought my parents out in the evening and they LOVED how their archway turned out. You could do this for any holiday or occasion.

When you say "We straightened the line out and measured 20 feet", what do you call line? Was it a waterhose? Please be clear.

Where do the lights plug in?

if they are battery operated, might go through a lot of batteries, which aren’t cheap!

Where did you get your shirt? 😊
