Sock Snowmen or Snow Babies As I Like To Call Them

I have seen a lot of different versions of Sock Snowmen out there all over the internet recently and thought I would share mine. I have been making them for a few years now and I think everyone I know has one from me.
They are made using rice or Navy Beans and then the polyfil and with different types of socks depending on what size I am going for.
I have found plain socks hard to find lately. Most of them now have the grey on the toes and the stripe on the tops. I use women's crew socks or men's tube socks (when I can find them). Even kids socks can make cute little baby snowmen.
The eyes are flat back black buttons and the noses are 4 or 5mm little poms poms from Michael's. They are glued on with a hot glue gun along with the buttons.
I don't think I have made that many of them the same because of all the combinations of buttons and yarn there are.
I have recently started making them without noses.
These two are made entirely of beans. It makes them really heavy, but they won't fall over. I used fall colors for them. They really can be left out all season.
This one I made for my husband as he is a fan of the Razorbacks. The buttons are specialty buttons I found on Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/listing/166171341/college-teams-arkansas-razorbacks-logos?ref=shop_home_active&ga_search_query=a
These were also made with buttons I got on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/162439281/college-teams-georgia-bulldogs-polka-1?ref=shop_home_active
Just another example of what you can do with the snowmen.
This one was made with a sock on the outside to make the hat and a shirt. Again, so many combinations with different colors and patterns of socks.
This one is made with a men's tube sock. Makes a very large snowman.
