Reinventing a China Cabinet

We just moved into a 1944 craftsman style home. Hubby is leaving it up me to do what I want in the house. But there was a little room in the basement that he has claimed as his man cave. He wanted it done as a pseudo- military kind of bar, after-all.
He has served 30+ years. I painted the old white beer fridge from the garage, tiled the top of the old bar that he owned already, painted my old china cabinet in black to match.
I covered the back of the cabinet in the RCAF military tartan and topped the buffet with the same tile for the bar.
Earlier, I had painted some plain bars tools black and added some personalized decals from his old squadron. Yesterday, I made a couple of tartan valances. His awards and certificates are mostly hung. We still have to furnish and do a floor treatment.. But he is tickled so far.
