1. Gather Your Supplies
First, head over to Home Depot to pick up a couple of hand towel rings and a canvas drop cloth.
Then, visit Walmart to pick up some no-sew hem tape.
2. Prepare the Drop Cloth
Grab your canvas drop cloth and fold it evenly in half lengthwise. Use sharp fabric scissors to cut along the fold.
3. Hem the Edges
To clean up the raw edge, use your no-sew hem tape and an iron.
Stick the tape along the inner edge of the material.
Fold over the raw edge about an inch and press the fold with your iron.
This will hide any frayed material on your fabric and is also a great time to iron out any wrinkles on the panels themselves.
4. Install the Towel Rings
It's time to install your towel rings to the wall. Follow the instructions that come with your towel rings.
These towel holder ideas add a unique touch to your window treatments.
5. Hang the Curtains
Now that the towel rings are installed, carefully fold your curtain like a fan or an accordion to give it some style.
Attach the folded curtain to the towel rings.

Sas109385086 on Aug 12, 2024I love this idea! I've been trying to figure out something cute for over my windows at night; but, don't look like curtains during the day. I think I'd use a different material and add a "tie back" to the bottom. When it's hanging down, it could be a bow. At night just grab the ends and tie it up in the middle on top. Viola!! Curtains by night; decoration in daytime. Saving this idea. 😊

What if you put two small decorative hooks in the top middle of the window frame and two rings half way down the curtains on the edge . Then, to close the curtains you put the ring on the hooks. Could look very boho.
