I wouldn’t use coconut oil, it will clog the pipe. And please be careful, the oil makes the floor slippery.

We place it near the front of the tub (near drain). the floor of the shower doesn't get slippery that way. You can also place it in a plastic bowl near drain

I don't think 1/12th of a teaspoon of coconut oil in hot shower for 10 minutes or so, will clog your drain.
I love this idea and am going to try as soon as the peppermint oil arrives. Thank you:)

You're most welcome. I've never had any issues with clogged drains. We're going through these like crazy right now due to all the wildfires surrounding us. The headaches from the smoke are bad. These are helping. Been locked up with A/C for over a week - can't breath outside.

I use coconut oil daily when I shower and have for years. Have never had clogged drains and it’s a wonderful moisturizer.
