Wreath Frame Pumpkin
I picked up some of these cute pumpkin wreath forms from the dollar store. I decided to combine two of them to make this 3D table centerpiece that is perfect for the holiday season.
I then measured the pumpkin frame so I could cut a wooden board to use as the base. I decided to use a 20”x5.5” cedar fence board that I had left from another project.
This is the board!
I then tied the two frames together at the top with a nice tight knot.
Then I centered the bottom of the pumpkin on top of the board, and stapled it onto the board.
Here it is standing upright- how cute! I'll add some detail to the stem as well.
I just went around the stem with some twine and knotted it every so often.
Loop it on the top which will cover the wire and secure it together.
Then I started cutting the fabric a bit with the scissors and then I ripped it the rest of the way down so you get that nice frayed edge. I used 3 different fabrics!
Then I slid the fabric though the stem and knotted each one.
I love that rag look!
I then hot glued a cute burlap leaf 🍁 to the right side of the stem.
I sanded the wood a bit, and colored over the staples with a sharpie to give it a more finished look.
I love the shabby chic look, and the simplicity of it! It looks great on my table. This project is a very easy and can be made for around $5

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
I don’t understand the wreaths.... what exactly did you start with???? It doesn’t show a pic of it.
I would like it with a couple leaves and the stem......let it go at that.......take your hangin' rags off.........maybe set some candles in the center? It looks to me like it has potential for something......you MAY want to think things over. Maybe wind flower garland on each wire of the pumpkin?????????
