1. Wrap the Pool Noodle
Start by grabbing your pool noodle and white tape.
Starting at one end of the foam noodle, wrap the tape diagonally.
You’re going for a candy cane look here, so make sure the white stripes are evenly spaced. Continue wrapping until the entire noodle is covered.
Trim off any extra tape and fold over the end to secure it.
2. Add the Light-Up Ornament
Next, take your light-up ornament and remove it from its packaging.
Stick the ornament into the hole at the top of the noodle. This will act as the glowing North Pole sign!
3. Insert the Broomstick
Take the end cap off a broomstick and insert it into the bottom of the pool noodle. This will provide the stability you need to stand your DIY North Pole decoration upright in your yard.
4. Wrap Garland and Lights
Wrap your garland and outdoor lights together to create a decorative string to place between your North Pole poles. This adds an extra festive touch to your outdoor setup!
