Dollar Tree Boo Sign

Check out how easy this cute Halloween swag is! It cost me less than $5 and it's a great decoration for the upcoming holiday!
What you’ll need:
"Boo" sign
Wooden ghost
Beads
Ribbon
White paint
Staple gun
Pipe cleaner
To start with, I sprayed the sign with white Kilz spray paint. It covers really well and has a nice matte finish. I also painted the wooden ghosts.
Make sure it is dry before you move on to the next step.
Next, I cut a bunch of ribbons at 10”, 8” and 6”. I stuck to a black and white theme but you can choose whichever colored ribbons you like.
Cut out a small triangle from the ends of each ribbon.
Then, I took my ribbons and layered them on top of each other in a criss cross way while pinching them in the middle.
Then, I took my pipe cleaner and tightly wrapped it around the middle of the ribbons. I twisted the back to secure it.
Once you finish, you will have a "Pom Pom Bow".
I made two more of these bows with the different sized ribbons I cut earlier.
Then I stapled the biggest bow to the top edge of the sign and the smallest bow about half way down on the back. The last medium sized bow can go at the bottom of the sign, also stapled to the back.
I then painted my colored beads to match the ribbons I used. I threaded some twine onto the top of the wooden ghosts and added the beads to the twine using a large needle. I then made a knot after the beads so they wouldn't fall off. Once I added twine and beads to two of my ghosts, I stapled them onto the sign from the back.
Check out my video to see more.
I think it turned out beautifully! You can hang it on a hook or a wreath - there's so many ways you can use this!
