How do you make shower doors easier to slide

To shower doors did slats on a track one is easy gliding in the other one is hard how do you make him both easier to slide

Clean them well with a scrub brush and spray dry silicone in the tracks. Wax is another solution.

Try adjusting how it hangs - - - there are usually adjusting screws at the top where the door hangs from. You can also remove it completely to clean the track and then adjust it. Good Luck.

You may have to replace the bottom gasket or rollers, whichever it has, if the ideas above don't work. I would use WD 40 in this case as it is more waterm resistanthe than some other items mentioned. A super clean, smooth track is absolute necessity to start the 'fix'.  You may have to use a long handled screw driver to push an abrasive pad down into the track far enough to reach everything, and you'll know more as son as you remove the doors and can see the bottoms of them.

If you don't have WD40 try a little olive oil. Clean the track thoroughly (Mr. Clean Eraser) and then apply a little bit to the track. Should make a big difference.

To thoroughly trouble shoot the door, remove it from the track and see if there is anything with the door bottom that is hindering a smooth glide. Often a cleaning is needed but from it's rough ride, it sounds like rollers are the problem. Do as the others have suggested and treat the track, if little or no improvement look to the rollers.

Hello, start by cleaning the tracks and rollers top and bottom, then run a candle over the tracks to help it glide better. Hope this helps you out.

WD40 makes a gret silicone spray. After a very good cleaing apply this and slide the door back and forth several times that helps to distribute the WD40 over the track. It even works for metal shower curtain rings.

I was grossed out by how filty my got (then I removed them and just use a shower curtain that I can throw in the washer and clean monthly).
