It could be one of several things - the burner itself, the connection, or a bad switch.
This is rather obvious, but I have to ask...Is your stove plugged in, something might have loosened the contact from the outlet. Make sure the outlet itself is working, you could plug in something else and see if it works.
Since you have done trouble shooting as far as you can, you could call the manufacturer and they could suggest things for you to try, have the make and model numbers ready.
I'm wondering if the oven works? If not, check your breaker and electrical outlet. If it does, then get an electrical tester and check the connection at the switches as well as where each eye plugs into the element.
Check if the breaker tripped.. Flip it off and on a couple times. Sometimes they look like they're on but actually are partially tripped. Check the outlet if it has power. Plug something else into the outlet.
Call repair clinic, give them your model number and they should be able to walk you thru what is needed to make the stove work again. OR Call the company and see if they sell the parts.
Hi Rivka! If your electric stove burner is not working, it could be due to a loose connection between the receptacle and burner terminals. You may be able to tell if the terminal is loose by wiggling it, but nonetheless, you might as well unplug it, check the terminal for damage, and then plug it in again.
I would contact the manufacturer of the oven and ask them. They have most likely heard of this problem before and have good tips for you to try to remedy the situation.
call the mfg of the stove or an appliance repair company - could be the burners could be the ignition on it or maybe the stove is just in need of replacing if repairs are more than it is worth
the picture is the door handle and the knobs. It is most likely the burners. Look up manufacturer name and model type. See if the burners can be replaced. We can't even tell what the stove is...gas? electric? glass top? That all makes a difference. If not look up a local appliance repair person.
It could be a bunch of different things so your best bet is to find a reputable repair person and have them check it out.
I’ve had a similar issue with my electric stove before. When none of the burners were heating up, it turned out to be a problem with the stove's internal wiring.
First, check if there’s a tripped circuit breaker. If that’s not the issue, it could be a faulty burner, switch, or even the control board. I tried troubleshooting myself but didn’t get far.
Eventually, I called Milton Appliance Repair. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. It saved me a lot of hassle, and now my stove works perfectly. Sometimes it’s best to get professional help to avoid bigger issues.
Be very methodical about your trouble shooting efforts. Many great suggestions have already been provided. Learn what brand, model, serial #, etc. is from either the owner's manual or the stove itself. You can google that info and perhaps you will be able to locate a customer service number to contact and discuss the issues after you've done the trouble shooting.
Call Repair Clinic.com 1 (800) 269-2609 they can help you figure it out and they sell the parts needed at a decent price.
Sounds as if you need new elements or a new Cooker top. Call in a Service Engineer for a price.
My stove decided to quit on me a few months back too, and none of the burners would heat up. I thought I could figure it out myself, but after checking the power and trying a few YouTube fixes, I was still stuck. I ended up calling the team at Vanproappliance.ca since they helped me with my dishwasher before.
They had me describe what was happening, and after a quick rundown of some basic checks, they suggested it might be a faulty infinite switch (never would’ve guessed that on my own!).
They even guided me on how to remove the panel and test it myself, which saved me a service fee. I ordered the part they recommended, swapped it out, and my stove was back in action. If you’re still having trouble, it’s worth reaching out to them, so click here.
Google the name of the stove manufacturer and model number of your stove. Often companies have websites that include a customer service number or chat room where you can get helps. Also these websites may have a Q/A area where other's who own the model ask questions to troubleshoot their issues. Someone else may have had the same problem in the past. Since none of the burners are working it is more likely to be an overall wiring problem rather than each burner having the same issue.
