Do you have pictures of how you secured the rope?
Or, have one custom made to fit your swing. Go to swingcushioncovers.com. They make slings (seat, cushion support) made to the size you need. $69 to $92.
i have done ours and in the process of doing 2 more swings....we disassembled the swing and carefully removed the cover so a pattern can be made .... bought some outside sunbrella type fabric cut it out sewed it up and reassembled it......my latest patten i made from a large vinyl tablecloth so i have a forever pattern for when i need it again....
Find some material that you like ( weatherproof -ish if keeping in the weather) and make slip covers like pillow cases. My cushions had several until I found a set at Garden Ridge that I loved.

How To Fix Broken Canvas On A Porch Swing
Could anyone tell me the manufacturer of the original poster's swing? I just found one on a swap page and I'd love to find the original schematics on it. It, too, has the sling torn out of it. I was told by the original owner that it had a canopy to it, too, but it tore apart long ago, and they did not remember the brand or store from which it came from. This threads picture is the only one I've found that looks like it could be the same model as mine.
The photo I've included is the swing that we just picked up. It was free! If it's not second or third hand, we don't get it. ;)
My swing did the same thing, so I asked my cousin to make it wood, he laughed because he didnāt understand what I meant. So I ripped off the fabric went into the garage got some wood and showed him what I wanted. I spray painted it black and made my own red cover and used pool noodles for arm rest added some cushions and everyone loves it. Most importantly it is extremely sturdy. We only had to buy nuts and bolts.
So sorry I thought the pictures were uploaded.
I have that exact swing in the same shape . Worn and weathered seating. Itās called a universal swing sling. It is sold at Garden Winds . Youāll need 2. They cost 45.00 each. YouTube will show you how to install it. This year Iām also gonna invest in a cover to protect it longer. Hope this helps and glad to know Iām not the only one with that proble
They do sell replacement slings, just make sure you measure to confirm the "universal" part. Otherwise if you do sew, you can use the old one as a pattern to make new. Sunbrella fabric is waterproof and fade resistant and made for this type of application.
Recover it with some outdoor fabric or dropcloth fabric. after removing the old cover, use it as a pattern.
I am the one who used the plastic re-webbing material. You can read my full post over here: https://happydealhappyday.com/fix-broken-canvas-porch-swing/
Those plastic re webbing materials that Maura posted about would work great and shouldn't be an expensive fix either.
You should be able to find replacement fabric covers already pre-made online but you can likely DIY up a cool replacement using wood, outdoor fabric, webbing, or other sturdy outdoor material. In the end you'll have a custom piece all your own!
