My DIY Projects Get Messy—This One Tool Handles the Cleanup
This article is sponsored by Roborock.
I’ve always got a DIY project underway and a mess that needs cleaning up. Sweep, mop, vacuum, who’s got the time?
So I swapped all my cleaning tools for one thing: Roborock’s F25 Steam, a wet-dry vacuum that vacuums, mops and uses high-temperature steam to tackle everyday messes and tougher, stuck-on stains.
Table of contents
1. One Tool, No Stopping
Kitchen, hallway, living room, bedroom—with up to 80 minutes of runtime in Eco mode, I can keep cleaning on one charge without constantly stopping.
And it comes in handy during my DIY projects, too.
Sanding dust all over the floor? Vacuum mode picks it up before it gets tracked through the house and without having to reach for the broom.
Tracked-in dirt from a backyard garden project? It makes quick work of that, too.
I especially like not having to stop midway through a project to grab a broom and dustpan.
Whether I’m sanding, repotting plants or just tracking dirt inside, I can clean it up quickly and get back to what I was doing.
In auto mode, it handles pet hair without the tangle and gets under the bed without me having to move a thing, thanks to the ultra-slim lie-flat design.
2. Steam for the Tough Messes
That paint that’s been dried on for three days? That’s what the steam is for.
Its high-temperature VaporFlow steam helps loosen stubborn, stuck-on messes, so I don’t have to keep scrubbing the same spot
And dirty paw prints? Gone in one push with steam mode.
It’s wet and dry at the same time, so I can tackle different kinds of mess without constantly switching between tools.
Oh, and let’s not forget about that puddle. Sponge mode takes care of that, too.
3. It Cleans Itself
Then there’s the self-cleaning roller.
It washes and dries itself while I get back to work, so I don’t have to spend extra time cleaning the cleaning tool.
That might be one of my favorite features after a long DIY day.
Once the floors are clean, I can put the F25 Steam back on its dock and leave the dirty work to it instead of adding another chore to my list.
The steam self-cleaning cycle starts first, followed by quiet drying.
Final Thoughts
My projects may still be a mess, but my floors aren’t.
If I’m going to be covered in DIY mess, I might as well have clean floors underneath it all.
