1. Identify the Problem Corner
Locate the stubborn corners or edges of your rug that refuse to stay flat.
These are usually areas with the most foot traffic or spots that were folded during shipping.
2. Apply the Ice Cubes
Take ice cubes and place them directly on the curled area. Be generous—you want the corner to get thoroughly soaked as the ice melts.
3. Weight It Down
Place a heavy weight, like a stack of books, directly on top. This helps the rug fibers reshape and stay in place.
Allow the weight to sit on the rug corner overnight to ensure it stays flat.
The longer you wait, the better the results!
In the morning, remove the weight and check your work. If the corner still has a slight lift, repeat the process.
Once satisfied, vacuum the rug to fluff up the fibers.

I have a rug that's doing this and will be trying this today
BUT....I have wood floor under the rug, so instead of placing the ice cubes directly onto of the rug, Instead, I am going to try a wet washcloth over top the rug with a large frozen ice pack on top of ice pack and heavy books over the icepack. Ill check back later and let you know if it worked:)
