Farmhouse Scale
I was really wanting a vintage looking kitchen scale, but if you're lucky enough to find one, they are so expensive! So I put my thinking cap on and headed to the Dollar Tree. Sure enough, a walk around the store was all I needed to come up with a plan!

These are the items I picked up!
I took my pot outside and sprayed with my Oil Rubbed Bronze paint let dry
The first thing I did was I took the pot outside and sprayed it with Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint and let it dry!
While it was drying, I cut out a scale face. It is best to print it out on card stock, so you don't need to glue it onto some cardboard.
Then I glues the face onto the metal burner.
I left the opening at the bottom open, and used e6000 and some hot glue.
Now that it's glued in place- let dry!
Then I painted the doll table silver. This will be at the top of the scale.
Just like this!
Then add more E6000 and hot glue on top of the wood table and place the plate in the center of the table.
Also glue the legs with E6000 to the top of pot

I love how it came out- it looks so vintage. And only cost me $5 to make 😊
