How do I remove Mod Podge from a surface?
I added glitter to mod podge for a project and don't like to look of it. Is there anything that I can use that would remove the "glittered dried on mod podge"?
Thanks in advance

Hello. Great question! I might consider calling the manufacturer for the best advice. There might be a possibility of sanding it off but it could easily gum up in the sandpaper.
What is the surface that you have applied it on? What material is it ?
Some people have had luck with vinegar and water, glass cleaner, glass cleaner, dish soap and water, and of course nail polish remover. See what works best for you. I agree with Vimarhonor, sanding might gum up along with create scratches.
First try soaking a cloth in hot water and laying it on the Mod Podge. If that doesn't work, try alcohol or petroleum jelly.
What kind of surface is it?
Be careful with the nail polish remover on plastic. The acetone in nail polish remover can mar some plastics. Try a small hidden spot first.
Acetone (nail polish remover) will likely damage the plastic. I wonder if hot water will loosen it up. You might check with the Mod Podge company for exact advice.

Acetone, the kind you get in the hardware store will remove Mod Podge. There is also a professional strength goof off.
Yes, if you want the real acetone, purchase it at a hardware type store. Use with caution, and wear gloves, as it can be quite harsh on the skin.
Many nail polish removers no longer contain acetone.
Follow these directions. Good luck
