Fake snow with Epsom salts

1. Creating Epsom Salt Snow

To start, mix together one cup of Epsom salt and one tablespoon of clear or white glitter to make your faux snow.

This snow will be the key to achieving that beautiful frosty look on your glass luminaries.

2. Applying Mod Podge

Take your glass vases or jars and apply a thin layer of Mod Podge onto each one.

This adhesive will help the fake snow stick to the glass, giving it that frosty effect.

3. Sprinkling the Snow

Sprinkle the Epsom salt and glitter mixture onto the Mod Podge layer of your glass vase.

Work in sections around the vase

Continue this process around each vase, making sure to cover the surface evenly.

Create a window on the larger vase

You can choose to either cover the entire vase with fake snow or leave a small clear window to see the magic inside. (I'll show you how to create that later on)

4. Extra Snow and Decoration

If you choose to leave a window section in your vase, you can add some of the Epsom salt snow to the bottom of it.

To complete the look, showcase your adorable display with battery-operated tea light candles and string lights.

These are very pretty! I gather they would be one year use only or are they washable?

I certainly would NOT wash them.

if you wrap them carefully in bubble wrap to store them you definitely can use them year after year.
