How to Clean Window Sill Mold With 1 Easy Vinegar Hack
Window tracks just love to attract lots of dirt and tough-to-scrub grime, but there is a simple solution to get the job done quickly and easily!
Watch how quickly the gunk melts away in this video tutorial on how to clean window sills using basic items you already have at home:
1. Apply baking soda
Start off by sprinkling a fairly thick layer of baking soda into your window tracks. Press it firmly into the cracks and corners so that it does its job well.
It might look like a lot as you go, but as you can see in the video, it takes quite a bit of baking soda to get that shine.
2. Pour vinegar
Next, pour your vinegar straight onto the baking soda so that it bubbles up like mine did. Allow the mixture to rest and do its thing for 5-10 minutes.
3. Scrub with a toothbrush
Once it has been resting for a while, grab an old toothbrush and scrub all the dirt loose.
4. Wipe
Then, wipe the loose gunk away with a rag or paper towel. Isn’t it amazing how it just slides away to reveal sparkling tracks?

5. Clean the edges
For a deeper clean (when your windows are beyond yucky), try the kitchen knife trick; wrap a knife in a towel and push it into the edges.
