You can use a brillo pad if its a metal pot, or a 3m green scrubby for ceramic pots and put some dish soap on it.
I recently discovered emery blocks which are like mr clean magic erasers with an emery surface for scrubbing. If it's very stubborn add barkeeper's friend. This is only if they are not coated surfaces.
If coated, use Scrub Daddy sponge to scrub the interior.
If baked on, you can boil some dishwasher powder dissolved to loosen.
