I had a friend that has the new top loader washer & dryer. We are both short, I was laughing when she told me I can't get my laundry out of the washer. It was funny because I knew exactly what she meant. Well here is the problem solver! A cute wood stool.
What you'll need
2 -10.5" 2x4 (Bottom)
2- 7" 2x4 (Top)
3 -12"  2x4 (Steps)
1- 9" 2x4 (Back)
Screws 3"
Paint of your choice

These are the dimensions of the stool
Take the 10.5" and the 7" and screw them together on the back & front
You can see how I fastened the 2 screws. Now I'm ready to apply the top step take the 12" board and lay it across the 2 sides you just screwed together. I added 2 screws on each board on each end for extra security. I recommended you pre-drill your holes, so you wont split the boards.
Here you can see how I pre-drilled and added the screws I countersunk my screws
Apply a 12" board which is your last top step.
With the last 12" step fasten that board to the bottom step.
I tip it over to confirm the inside measurement which should be 9" if it is that's perfect because its straight and in line. (if not cut board to fit)
I turned it on its side and applied the screws
Now it should be done. From here it just needs its finishing touches: sanding and paint which you can do to your liking.
Here are a few I did for friends now everyone can get their laundry out ha-ha!
I'm ready to use mine. I distressed it, for a little charm. These stools are great for the kitchen, laundry, or kids bathroom to brush their teeth.

Can it be made wilder than what it is, and would it need another support in the middle.
