Ours is on the kitchen wall. We put a cabinet door on it. Put wood strips around it, and mounted a cabinet door.

Cover it with a picture that's attached by a hinge. A bigger canvas (unframed) may be the best bet to cover it

Over the years I have decoupaged fabric directly to the cover and also did the same with a large poster/print. Both of these coordinated with the "decor". In my cousin's house (she rents), I ordered a poster/print that would cover the whole thing, put it in a light weight frame, and hung it from Command hooks

Good idea! I did the same thing once except I used my usual method of hanging something -- drive a nail in the wall, which I did -- right above the box -- you know, where all the wires come in. Not my smartest moment! My husband almost had a heart attack (but the picture looked nice). Command Hooks are a much better idea!

I put magnets, large and small. I can add seasonal and keep special.

In my family room is our electric panel. I used a large magnet (one for a wreath on a metal door) and hung a picture over it. When we need to get into it, it is easy to take the picture down, open and then put it back up.

Having worked in the electrical business, I would suggest checking with your code authorities to make sure you can cover these up. Certain requirements for access may be covered under the NEC (National Electrical Code) or local building codes. Whether it's a residential dwelling or commercial dwelling, these may be treated differently in the NEC code. Sounds like this one is inside. For outside service panels I would definitely not recommend covering up because if you have a fire, this may be where the fire department goes first to kill power in the building. Having it open or visible just helps them easily locate it faster.

So if it doesn't violate codes and as long as you (or key office workers) know where to turn power off in an emergency, I don't see a problem covering it up.

I know this doesn't address your question directly, but I always like to put safety first.

We attached an extra kitchen cabinet door with the center panel painted in chalkboard paint to the panel door. We use it for notes to each other. You could do a mirror as well.

    Sounds great!

  • Hang a picture in front of it.

  • If you’re feeling adventurous, you can paint and stencil over it as I did. Ours has visually completely disappeared.

My biggest challenge with fitness was always finding time for the gym. Between work and family, I just couldn’t make it happen. That’s why hiring a personal trainer at home was a game-changer! I can now fit workouts into my schedule without the stress of commuting.

Nowadays personal training in Bangalore is booming. I highly recommend you to hire a fitness trainer Bangalore for your convenience!

Depending on its size and location, you might possibly be able to hang a canvas or cut fabric or cork to use as a bulletin board in your office. Small magnets could be used to attach a variety of items and make it useful as a bulletin board without even covering it. Think outside the box and go wild with ideas. Hopefully knowing you can attach small items to the metal will encourage creativity. Photos, drawings, tickets, invitations, faux flowers, refrigerator magnets, etc.

Put a picture frame around it and make a cover. You can add a handle to open it. Shutters will work.

There are several creative ways to cover up your breaker box and improve the aesthetics of your office:

    1. Decorative Screen or Panel: Use a folding screen or a decorative wooden or metal panel that complements your office decor. This can be easily moved if access to the breaker box is needed while still hiding it effectively.
    2. Custom Cabinet or Enclosure: Install a small cabinet or custom enclosure around the breaker box. Make sure it's designed with easy access in mind, such as a magnetic or hinged door. You can choose a design that matches your office's interior style.
    3. Framed Artwork or Mirror: If the breaker box is in an area that doesn’t need frequent access, you could frame a large piece of art or a mirror in front of it. Just make sure it’s easy to remove if you need to reach the breaker box.
    4. Fabric Curtain or Drapery: A simple, elegant fabric curtain attached to a tension rod can cover the breaker box. This allows for a quick and easy solution that can be pulled aside when needed.
    5. Wall Paneling: Install a section of matching or contrasting wall paneling, creating a built-in look that conceals the box but blends seamlessly with the rest of your office decor.

These solutions can help you hide the breaker box while keeping your office space stylish and functional!
