    It may be easiest and look best to get a new door. You can get one cheap at Habitat Restore, etc.

    Hello Kelly,

    You will need to buy a piece of MDF or timber big enough to cover the hole ad fit it right across the door base. Hope that helps. You can also buy Aluminium /Brass sheet too, should that be more acceptable to your decor. Stick it or Screw it in place.

    How big is the hole? I'm afraid that if you repair damage from your dog, what's to stop him from chewing a new hole in the same place? You could try spritzing a deterrent over your repair.

    Kelly .... The easiest way is to buy a poster and use tacks on each corner of the poster! Of course this is more like a bandaid on cut that needs stitches!

    Beadboard cut to fit would hide it. Was there a reason he chewed the door? If it's to get out when no one was home, you !ight want to contain him in a kennel when he's alone to prevent further damage.
