My dryer takes two cycles to dry, what is wrong?
Lately, it’s been taking my dryer two cycles to dry the laundry and I have no idea why. Any advice on the problem and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you cleaned the vent hose? That could be the problem.
A clogged vent hose might cause the problem. Also, you may have a faulty heat element. I would check the element by putting the dryer in high heat mode and turning it on without any items inside to see if the dryer gets hot or only warm. You then could likely go to the manufacturer's website to locate the appropriate part and instructions to replace.

Clean out your lint trap and get a new hose for the exhaust air make it short as you can. Then make shure the clothes aren’t very wet like dripping.
Clean the tint trap, the passage the lint trap goes into, the dryer vent hose, and make sure the dryer vent flapper opens and closes. All or any of these will prevent the air from exhausting properly.
Your element is probably not getting hot enough. That would be my first check.
usually the lint trap or the hose to the dryer is clogged - clean those out and it will dry much faster.
yOU NEED TO CHECK THE WATER COLLECTION IS EMPTY, THE FILTERS ARE CLEAN ETC.
I would start with cleaning out the lint trap and if it's good, I'd check the hose. I'd also look at where it vents if you can to make sure that's clear. Otherwise check the manual or you can call the manufacturer and inquire.
You might also try cleaning out the vent area where the vent exits the building as well, checking to make sure nothing has gotten in there and it's not blocked.
It probably is the heating element of the vent hose, you could contact the manufacturer with the make and model numbers and see what they say.
A dryer is deemed overloaded when it is fully stocked. Overload restricts tumbling and prevents hot air from the dryer from properly circulating. When this occurs, a heavy load of laundry will require two cycles in your dryer to finish drying.
#1 -- check your lint trap. If you empty it often, know that dryer sheets leave a film. Run the empty lint screen under water and see if water beads. If so, use and old toothbrush to to give it a quick scrub. Dry completely before replacing in dryer unit.
#2 -- check the exhaust line. It is usually a flexible tube that connects to where dryer vents to the outside. Sometimes lint can get caught then build up a blockage. Sometimes your outside vent gets stuck open and bird will decide it is a good place to nest. Make sure everything is all clear.
#3 -- check your heating element. If the dryer isn't getting hot at all, you can replace the heating element. You'll need to refer to your owner's manual to see how and to tell you the correct part to use. It isn't hard and you won't need to hire anyone for help.
