I found out how important it is to use primer, even when you use a paint with primer in it. I painted our kitchen and bathroom, but the next day, the paint was still tacky and peeled off the wall. This is how I fixed it without scraping.
I will say that I used this product in a way it is not intended to be used. But, it saved me so much time and work, I'm glad I took the risk.

Parle on Feb 27, 2016Hmmm....did you just peel off what you could - eliminating the large loose pieces of paint - then spray? It's fascinating that you discovered this - and may just be the solution for my bathroom problem. Thanks!

Loribeth on Feb 27, 2016@Pearl No. I didn't peel off what I could. I just sprayed it all over the entire walls even where I had already started peeling. Once the spray dried, the paint wasn't soft and could be sanded smooth. Spraying saved me from having to peel or scrape the paint off. Since I discovered this, I used it on a my china cabinet doors. The paint was scratching off, so I sprayed it on, and the next day the paint wasn't scratching off any more. As long as you use it on latex paint and don't wipe the spray while it's wet, it seems to bond the paint to whatever paint that's under the paint that's not sticking. I hope it works for you!!
