DIY Spider Repellent
As the days get cooler and autumn starts to roll in, you may notice spiders starting to creep into your home. Whether or not you’re afraid of spiders, you have to admit- running through cobwebs in your house and finding giant spiders on the walls and cupboards is less than desirable. Try this DIY Spider Repellent Recipe to get rid of existing spiders and prevent new ones from hanging out in your house.
If you want to get rid of spiders naturally there are ways to do it that don’t involve toxic chemicals. With a mixture of vinegar, lavender oil, peppermint oil and dish soap you can make a DIY spider repellent spray.
Add 1 1/2 cups of water into your spray bottle. Then, add 1/3 cup of vinegar. It can be white or apple cider vinegar. It doesn't matter.
Add a few squirts of dish soap. About a tablespoon is enough. It doesn't matter what brand. The soap helps the oils, water and vinegar mix.
Shake up the mixture in the bottle and spray is on spiders and spider webs. Use a paper towel or rag to wipe them up. You can also spray the repellent on areas where you want to deter spiders. You can use this spray indoors and out.
