1. Create the Base of Your Toilet Paper Christmas Tree
First things first, find a sturdy ledge or spot in your bathroom to place your tree. I opted for the ledge above my toilet.
Start with 5 toilet rolls as the base. Stack them in a pyramid shape, with the widest base first.
You can use little double-sided glue dots on the bottom of each roll to keep them in place, if you plan on this being a permanent structure throughout the season and not just a nifty storage idea.
Pro Tip: You can customize your tree base by using extra rolls or even making the base wider for a more dramatic look.
You could even wrap each roll in festive paper for something more dramatic.
2. Build Up the Tree Layers
Now, it’s time to keep stacking those rolls. Add 4 more toilet rolls, placing them neatly above the base.
Ta-da! You’ve got yourself a miniature Christmas tree craft with toilet paper roll.
3. Wrap the Lights Around the Tree
It’s light time! I used a colorful battery-operated set of Christmas lights for that extra twinkle.
I tucked the battery pack at the back of the tree (so it’s hidden, of course!) and carefully wrapped the string of lights around each layer.
Tuck the wire under the rolls as you go to hold the lights in place.
4. Add Your Star (It’s the Little Things That Matter)
What’s a Christmas tree without a star, right? Grab some festive craft paper, cut out a star shape, and sit it in the top row of your tree.
If you want, you could even go all out and decorate it with glitter. There’s no such thing as too much sparkle when it comes to Christmas decor for the bathroom, am I right?
I borrowed a wand from my daughter and used that as my tree topper
5. Add Ornaments for Extra Festivity
To make the tree feel more complete, it’s time to add some ornaments. Nestle them on and between your rolls to make sure they don't roll away.
6. End with an Elf
I couldn’t resist sticking a tiny elf on the shelf next to my tree for some extra holiday magic.
I tucked the string light wire into his hands to make it look like he has set-up this mini tree.
I also placed a few flocked trees on the opposite side to finish off the scene.

To Marsha
I am copying the idea and mine will be in the bathroom too.
It will be covered in white tissue paper with snowflakes printed on it.
Pink poinsettias, ornaments and fairy lights will be placed on it to match colour scheme.

Thanks for the idea, Danielle.
I did mine today but it's not quite like yours. The top of my toilet is small and I didn't really have the space.
