1. Mix the DIY Bleach Alternative
In a small bowl, combine four tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide with a few drops of citrus essential oil.
The citrus oil not only contributes a pleasant fragrance but also enhances the cleaning power of the solution.

Stir the mixture well until it's thoroughly combined.
2. Load Your Washing Machine
Take your white sheets and place them in the washing machine as you usually would.
Ensure the drum is not overloaded to allow the sheets to move freely during the wash, promoting even distribution of the DIY bleach alternative.
3. Add the DIY Solution
Pour the hydrogen peroxide and citrus essential oil mixture into the bleach tray of your washing machine.
By doing so, you're introducing a powerful, bleach-free solution that will effectively whiten your sheets without the use of harsh chemicals.
4. Run the Washing Cycle
Start the washing machine on a regular cycle with cold water. The cold water helps maintain the integrity of your sheets while the DIY bleach alternative works its magic.

How to Whiten Sheets Without Bleach
Once the washing cycle is complete, let your sheets dry in the sun.
In my opinion, this is the best way to wash white sheets. It’s simple, environmentally friendly, and gives you crisp white sheets without the need for traditional bleach.

Cannot wait to try!! I have ruined too many articles of clothing, towels, etc.. when bleach splashes on whatever I am wearing! I have always bought “Splashlish” bleach but it still happens!! Thank you again!!😊

First, why are you using a measuring spoon to put in a measuring cup? Second there are pre-treatment sprays that work on stains. Third peroxide is a bleach and you can remove color using it. And lastly using that small of an amount in a load of laundry will dilute it so much it will be of little value. If you use it on whites you treat it BEFORE you put it in the washing machine. Many people can't deal with aromas due to sinus issues. Why does EVERYTHING have to smell with essential oils??????
