Green Cleaning Coach on Sep 12, 2016I'd use a microfiber mop and a spritz of water. You'll be clean and chemical freeHelpful Reply

William on Sep 12, 2016In order to keep your tiles looking their best, you will have to dust them. Simply go over the tiles with a feather duster. Use one with a long handle if possible. If you don’t have one, you’ll have to get on a ladder. Wear goggles and a mask so dust does not get into your eyes and lungs. Wear the rubber gloves and safety goggles. Mix a solution of mild dishwashing soap in with a bucket of warm water. Now, you need a ladder regardless of whether you used one in Step 1. Soak your sponge in the mixture you made and then wring it out so it doesn’t drip. Now—you guessed it—scrub the ceiling. When you have finished cleaning a particular area, dry it off with a towel. When you’ve cleaned all the tiles you can reach, move your ladder to an adjacent area and repeat. Do not use any cleaners that can stain, discolor, or etch the tiles. To keep it clean longer, you polish the ceiling with an auto polish. You can use a spray type polish on a clean dust mop.Helpful Reply

Diane Taylor Noel on Sep 13, 2016Depending on the height of your ceilings , I would opt for an hour easier way to dust it using the soft brush of your vacuum cleaner attachment if it will reach.Helpful Reply

Sue Sanders on Sep 13, 2016Didnt know this type ceiling had to have maintenance. Guess I'll stick with my painted ceiling as I dont need anymore things to take care of. If you are on the younger side you will still have the engery to care for your ceilings.Helpful Reply

Sue Sanders on Sep 14, 2016I'm alergic to tobacco smoke so never had any guests smoking in my home and my husband never smoked. I bought a shelf for the garage wall and after cleaning it was a much brighter color. It was covered with a smoke film so I know how smoke can be on tables and everything in the room of a smoker.Helpful Reply
