1. Use a Command Hook for Your Purse or Grocery Bags
One of the simplest ways to declutter your car is by using a Command hook.
Stick it to the passenger side of the center console or behind the seat to hang your purse, shopping bags, or even a mask, hat, or remote.
No more bags tipping over and losing small items!

2. Use a Tension Rod to Prevent Grocery Spills
Groceries rolling around your trunk? Not anymore.
Use a tension rod to prevent spills and keep your groceries securely in place.
Adjust it to fit the size of your trunk, and if necessary, add a second rod for more stability.
Place grocery bags and other items between the rods to prevent them from tipping over.

3. Velcro for Organizing Loose Items
Loose items like tissue boxes, phone chargers, or even a mini emergency kit can slide all over your car. Sticky back Velcro strips are the perfect solution.
Attach them to your items and the interior of your car for a secure fit.
4. Cup Holder Candle Freshener
Want your car to smell fresh without using chemical air fresheners?
Place a small soy candle in your cup holder or door pocket. As the sun heats up your car, the wax softens, releasing a subtle, long-lasting scent.
It’s an all-natural air freshener—no flames required!

5. Binder Clip Cable Holder
Tired of fishing for your charger every time you need it?
Snap a standard binder clip onto your car’s air vent and thread your charging cable through the metal arms.
This keeps your cord within easy reach and prevents it from slipping between the seats or getting tangled.
Tip: Use different colored binder clips to organize multiple cables—one for your phone, another for passengers!

6. Use an Empty Gum Container for Loose Change
An old gum or mints container (like an Altoids or Tic Tac box) makes the perfect mini coin holder for tolls, parking meters, or drive-thrus.
7. Keep Baby Wipes for Quick Cleanups
Even if you don’t have kids, a pack of baby wipes is a lifesaver for spills, sticky hands, dusty dashboards, and even wiping down your hands after pumping gas.

I have a pen holder and clip in my car that holds a list of my daily errands. I check them off as I do them, and start fresh the next day. I also have a command hook on the passenger side of the center console for a trash bag.

A number of years ago I bought an inexpensive, square plastic, zip up lunch bag. I added an adhesive velcro strip to the bottom of the lunch box. It fits perfect to the carpet in the back floorboard between my front seats. easy to reach and keep secure.
